They discuss in-the camera placement and try the new flip-up design. ABOUT ZACUTO'S EVF VIEWFINDER Zacuto is changing the game again! We are transforming the form factor of DSLR cameras for video use with our Z-Finder EVF. The Z-Finder EVF is a 3.2" high resolution monitor that will be used in conjunction with all the Z-Finder models. The Z-Finder EVF allows you to operate the DSLR camera with the correct form factor for video with the camera "in-line" to your rod system (the most stable way) and your eye in the Z-Finder EVF. It will enhance the stability, give you better resolution, allow you to get your eye where it most comfortably needs to be, enable low mode shooting, have your EVF in the back of a dolly or crane, detached from the rig for car shots and more. Zacuto Z-Finder EVF 3.2" monitor has higher resolution than DSLR LCD screens. These screens have a resolution of 640×480 on a 3:2 aspect ratio screen. Therefore, you only effectively see the resolution at 640×360 in 16×9. The Zacuto Z-Finder EVF monitor resolution is a true 800×480 making the resolution 56% greater than the on-board DSLR camera screens. The Zacuto monitor also has a tighter dot pitch which also improves the quality, making you see a much tighter pixel pattern. Nikon D3100 Battery Life

Hi, in this video i talk about the Nikon D3100's battery life - i charged the battery overnight and took it out the next day to only shoot video and managed 70 minutes of video over 50 clips before the battery showed the RED Battery Low indicator. I dont the same before shooting sports and filled two 8GB Cards with 1900 photos before the battery died. So with those two tests done, i feel the battery is more than adequate, but if your shooting alot of video a spare battery is a must. Canon EOS Rebel T2i (550D/Kiss X4) - Epic Test Video

Recently I just got the Canon EOS Rebel T2i, also known as the 550D or Kiss X4 overseas. I actually ordered the Kiss X4 because it's cheaper, but the camera is the same as the T2i. This camera is a photography camera (DSLR) that can record HD video. It just just blows my HV30 away. The footage that comes out of this this looks just like film, except it costs way less and can fit in the palm of my hand. Shooting with this camera is more challenging than with a video camera, but I still recommend it. The quality is just as good as the Canon 7D or 60D for way cheaper. I highly recommend this camera to filmmakers everywhere! WEBSITE: www.benhughesstudios.com FACEBOOK facebook.com I used the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens. Shot in 1080p 24p for most shots, and 720p 60p for slow motion. I accidental set the ISO to 1600 in the city and forest shots. Aperture was wide open for all shots. All audio came from the built in t2i microphone, which ain't too bad aside from the AGC.
